spiral model prototyping पर ही work करता हैं तथा इसे iterative मॉडल भी कहते हैं. spiral model के नियम को flow करके जो भी software develop किया उस software में software के newक versions को implements को तेजी से develop करके rapid develop करता हैं . spiral model का use करके एक series में किसी software को develop करने की प्रक्रिया को बढाता हैं . इस model starting में iterations के दोरान ही उसका प्रोटोटाइप बन सकता हैं. उसके बाद iterations के दोरान ही इंजीनियर सिस्टम के द्वारा से प्रोटोटाइप तेयार किये जाते हैं.

Planning Phase in hindi
spiral model में Planning phase के अंदर requirement को इकट्ठा किया जाता हैं. जिसमें costumer या user की help लेनी होती हैं.
Risk analysis
ये phase spiral model का के बहुत महत्व पूर्ण phase होता हैं क्योकिं इस phase के अंदर ही किसी भी project के risk analysis किया जाता हैं . जब इस phase में रिस्क analysis की जाती है तो इसमें एक prototype तैयार किया जाता हैं. अगर रिस्क analysis में ही किसी भी problem पता चल जाता हैं. तो आगे इस problem उस का iterative तैयार किया जाता हैं.
Engineering phase
engineering phase में software की development और testing होती हैं . जिसमे coding और testing की जाती हैं और software develop किया जाता हैं. जिसमे जो prototype तैयार किया हैं उस की प्रोटोटाइप की अनुसार ही software develop किया जाता हैं.
Evaluation Phase
